TANICA Sydney Spritz

Named for the city it hails from, the TANICA Sydney Spritz is bright, vibrant and full of relaxed sophistication. Our twist on the classic spritz was created by founder Adriane McDermott in collaboration with pioneering distiller Shaun Byrne, as they worked to develop both TANICA and its signature serve.

To shape the flavour, Shaun sent Adriane to the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney to gather her favourite botanicals. From there, Shaun carefully balanced these with a co-mingling of other ingredients to create a spirit that shines when mixed with Prosecco and soda. Orange, mint, cinnamon and strawberry gum leaf are distilled using a method that avoids direct contact with boiling alcohol, preserving freshness and lift. Native Davidson’s plum is then steeped in the spirit for months, before being blended with gentian and cane sugar for balance.

The result is a spritz that feels unmistakably Sydney — easy, juicy and modern made.

Ingredients

3 parts Prosecco

2 parts TANICA

1 part soda water

Lemon twist, to garnish

Method

Choose a white wine glass.

Add TANICA, followed by Prosecco.

Fill the glass to top with ice.

Top with Soda.

Give a gentle stir to combine.

Garnish with lemon.

Fresh, juicy and effortlessly drinkable — the spritz as we always imagined it.
