Is Tanica alcoholic?

Yes, but we are lower strength than a typical spirit. We are only 10% alcohol by volume, about the same as Aperol.

Is Tanica a gin?

No, we're not a gin or vodka and we're not distilled or mass produced. We are a blended botanical spirit, closest to an aperitif. Our bottle is shaped like a gin bottle so it's common people think we look like a gin.

Can I keep the bottle?

Yes! We design our beautiful bottle to be re-used and displayed after use. The back label can easily be peeled off and the bottle washed.

Do I need to keep it in the fridge?

Due to some of the natural ingredients in Tanica, we suggest that once it's opened you store Tanica in your fridge. 

Can I track my order?

We use Sendle for all our orders. Sendle has a tracking feature, and you'll receive an email about how to track your order.

Can I return my bottle?

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Please refer to our Return Policy.

Can the bottle be recycled?

Yes! Our bottles are made of glass and are 100% recyclable. Remember to remove the stopper before recycling.

 

Is Tanica gluten-free?

Yes, we are gluten-free.

Is Tanica vegan?

Yes, we are vegan. By the way, Aperol is not vegan, just an FYI.

What is the Tanica spirit?

We are a neutral spirit, closest to vodka, blended with native and natural Australian ingredients. Tanica is part of a new, emerging drinks category of Blended Botanical Spirits or Botanical Infused Alcohols. T

Do you ship outside of Australia?

For now we only ship within Australia.

What if my Tanica arrives broken?

In the event that you are not satisfied with your Tanica products or the product arrives damaged or broken, contact us at hello@tanica.com.au within five (5) days' of the date that you received the product with your order number and proof of purchase and we will send you a new bottle. We do not require returns of faulty or broken product but we may ask you to provide a photo as proof of damage.

How long will my order take?

We process orders within 1 business day from the date you place an order. As a guide, standard shipping via Sendle generally takes 2 - 5 business days to arrive. Metro Sydney is sometimes next day.

Do I need to be 18 years old to order Tanica online?

All orders must be placed and received by a person over the age of 18 years of age with identification, such as a valid drivers' licence or passport. Tanica reserves the right to request identification and any other details of the recipient including but not limited to name, address, date of birth or require signature from the recipient and/or acknowledgement that the recipient is over the age of 18 and are not attempting to or actually making a purchase of alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years old. If there is no one available, or if the person available to receive the delivery does not comply with the above requirements for acceptance of delivery, Tanica may refuse delivery and charge you reasonable fees for re-delivery or cancel your order and retain any delivery fees paid.
